Originally built in 1946 as a small cafe by the Jope family serving 120 meals per day to the Canungra Army Barracks, The Outpost Cafe has developed into an iconic Gold Coast tour destination and attraction for the locals and its visitors from many different walks of life.
The Cafe is now owned and operated by the Covino Bros. who have taken The Outpost Cafe into the future with the vision that has seen it become 'The Hinterland's Favourite Cafe'.
